Materials Characterization Technician M/F (NIGHT WEEK)

As part of our development and in a context of industrialization of our company, we are looking for a Materials Characterization Technician M/F on permanent contract for the team week/night, based in Echirolles.

Within the “Test and Characterization” team he/she is in charge of the dimensional and structural characterization of LED materials or components.

Role and responsibilities

Your main missions will be as follows:

*Carrying out material characterizations:

– Take characterization requests issued by scheduling and organize your planning in compliance with deadlines,

– Carry out sample preparation using the FIB (Focus Ion Beam) to carry out cross sections, delayering, preparation of TEM slides or others depending on the need

– Carry out the physical characterization (electron microscopy) of the samples prepared beforehand (FIB cuts, etc.),

*Data processing and reports:

– Data processing with the tools made available

– Analyze the results

– Establish and distribute reports using the required formats and templates.

*Support team activities:

– Take charge of part of the team's activity according to priorities:

o AFM

o Photoluminescence

o Automatic tests on wafers

– Monitoring progress and communicating results.

Training and experience

• You hold a Bac+ 2 or 3 type BTS/DUT/Licence type Physical Measurements or equivalent.
• You have around 5 years of experience in semiconductors and are familiar with characterization equipment.
• You have a good command of Pack Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) and a professional level of English.
• Ideally, you have experience working night shifts.
