New Building Inauguration

Aledia has initiated a €20 million project to refurbish a 4,000 sqm facility for its production, officially inaugurated on November 26th, 2019, in Echirolles, Grenoble Metropole, France.

The new premises comprise offices for R&D and SG&A employees as well as a showroom, technical labs and clean room. The well-being of the 130 staff members on-site has been specifically considered by space planning experts in the design of flexible working areas, including an outside patio.

The creation of collaborative meeting spaces, replacing more conventional offices, is intended to keep staff inspired, by supporting creativity, team work, innovation, and increasing social connection between the different departments.

The opening of our new location represents a significant milestone for Aledia as we move rapidly towards the sale of our first 3D LED Technology planned for 2021-2022. Having our own equipment will allow us to spread our wings further to fulfill our ambition of becoming the leader of the microLED display market. We naturally continue our collaboration with the CEA, which has supported our development since our early days,” explains Giorgio ANANIA, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO.

This new building is also part of Aledia’s strategy to attract new talents. The company is continuously recruiting to meet its growth strategy and needs. More than twenty positions are currently open.
