Unique 3D WireLED Technology
Aledia revolutionized microLEDs with its WireLED™ technology, the result of more than a decade of R&D. Using gallium nitride in nanorod form on a silicon substrate, this approach reduces costs and growth times for a complete LED structure while providing unmatched quality and reliability. Each nanorod forms a microLED independent of its neighbors, and is compatible with mass production.
ALED1 Platform
- Designed for small screens
- Micron-sized MicroLEDs
- Light is emitted by each nanorod's sidewall, providing excellent performance
- Red and green colors are achieved through blue light color conversion, ensuring extremely uniform color
- Developed for 200mm and 300mm substrates
ALED2 Platform
- Designed for micro-displays or augmented reality applications
- Submicron-sized microLEDs, offering native colors and high directivity
- Compatible with direct hybridization on advanced CMOS (Complementary
Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) circuits
- Developed for 200mm substrates
